As per the Gas Cylinder rules, 2016 (PDF), CNG cylinder hydro testing is mandatory every 3 years to ensure safety of the passengers. This procedure is specifically designed to test the cylinder's rigidity and check for:

Our CNG Testing Process
We ensure a comprehensive testing through a step-by-step laid our process:
- CNG cylinder visual inspection.
- External inspection: Cylinder is checked by Ultrasonic Testing.
- Internal inspection: Cylinder is fitted in machine and pressurized by water with the help of pump. This is done to check any leakage and to check whether cylinder can bear this maximum pressure.
- Weight Measurement.
- Thickness Mesurement and flaw detection by ultrasonic testing.
- Oil deposits and impurity removal.
- Hydrostatic streach test of cylinder
